Real Swamp Tour Reviews - Ragin Cajun Airboat Tours

You’re probably sitting there going. “Airboat or regular boat?” And I’m here to tell you emphacially that airboat is where it’s at. Louder equals faster and more exciting with access to areas a boat simply can’t go.

While I’m too forgetful to remember my captains name what I can say with confidence is any of the lovely humans that work at Ragin Cajun will take care of you. Their cross boat banter is both hilarious and extremely welcoming. They do a great job of making a mixed tour feel very personal and you will leave feeling great about the money well spent and wishing you could have done even more.

I was blown away by how positive my experience was from start to finish with this tour and would 100% recommend them to anyone visiting the area and looking to explore what the waters around New Orleans have to offer.

Outstanding experience! Austin was the boat captain for my ride. Very knowledgeable and skilled at driving the boat. Got to see the gators and he answered many of the questions.

Our group of 10 was on the Big Daddy, Jeff was the best. I’ve done a lot of airboat rides in Florida and found some great guides. But Jeff at Ragin Cajun is on another level. You can feel the passion he has for the swamp and his craft. Anyone going to NOLA would be severely missing out if they don’t go here. Highlight of the trip for our friends bachelor party!

The company Rajin Cajun needs a lot of work, especially on their customer service. A nice experience and you definitely get to see gators. Unfortunately, these are dinky airboats and the airboat drivers play practical jokes on each other. Your willingness and valuables are not really their concern nor do they offer any compensation for lost items (except for some empty promises). They are disrespectful, especially Dylan (who I would strongly recommend avoiding as your airboat driver). There are also dozens of very similar Airboat companies nearby to choose from.
