BEWARE!!! I wish that I could give this company a four star review however we purchased our tour as a combo Small Airboat/Oak alley Plantation tour w/ transportation through Groupon. The cost for two tickets on Groupon was $350 (Listed at $175 ea on the website so we saved on taxes). We purchased two tickets on Thursday and scheduled the tour for the following Monday. On Sunday less than 24 hours prior to our tour we received a call from Ragin Cajun that they would not accommodate our tour because they did not want to send out a bus for only two people since they had no other people that booked for the same tour and that they had to downgrade us to the Destrehan Planation/Small airboat tour w/transportation (2 less hours and a cost of $154 per person on their website). We were given no choice. Per Ragin Cajun we were due a refund of the difference of $42 however they stated that we would need to contact Viator a Travelocity company because they are the ones that listed on Groupon and had not yet paid Ragin Cajun. On Wednesday morning upon our return home I contacted Viator who stated I would need to call Groupon and get a refund from Groupon directly. I emailed Groupon right away and received the response that they could not give me a refund since the Groupon voucher had already been used. They suggested buying another Groupon and then getting refund on the second. However this would not work as the refund would exceed the Groupon price. The total cost they asked me to invest was $700!!! This is a total scam, we could have purchased aimed at taking money from unsuspecting tourists! Sad that all companies involved take money from people who are trying to enjoy their vacations.
