There’s a lot of good tour options and things you should do in the New Orleans area, and Ragin Cajun airboat tours should be on your list. It was an amazing value and I’ll not only recommend it to everyone, I’ll go again the next time I’m there. Their operation is slick – we were picked up in front of our hotel by their bus in the morning and delivered to the airboat. The process was easy and inexpensive. The tour guide was amazing and knew the swamps and gators well. The operators are so kind to the animals, too, and you feel like you’re exploring with a conservation group who value the animals and the environment. The airboats were a blast! You get up close to big and little alligators without feeling like you, or the gators, are in danger. Take this trip. The bus driver dropped us back off at a bar near our hotel at our request, and dude (Brett I think) was hilarious, professional, and knew how to avoid the worst spots in the road. I regret that I don’t remember our tour guides name – he was amazing. 11/10, I’ll take this tour again. It’s an adventure I’ll remember long after I’ve forgotten all the cool bars I drank in.
