We recently took a walking tour of the French Quarter in New Orleans with Cajun Encounters. We were very fortunate to have Dane as our tour guide.
We’ve taken many walking tours in many cities (every city we travel to for vacation, and even some in our own home town!). It’s a great way to learn about the city you’re visiting. Dane was, hands down, the BEST TOUR GUIDE WE’VE EVER HAD! He not only introduced himself before the tour, but he learned every person’s name that was taking the tour, and then personally addressed and interacted with each individual all throughout the tour, in addition to speaking to the group as a whole. Dane was very energetic, engaging, and knowledgeable. And funny!!! We also learned quite a bit about the history of New Orleans. Very highly recommend taking a walking tour while you’re in town. And ask for Dane as your guide!!!
