February weather in the New Orleans area can be variable because we transition from the winter cool season into the spring warm season. Often, there is a marked difference between the start end of the month.
Expect cool snaps (sometimes it’s darn cold!) followed by warmer spells. The transition from one to the other is often greeted by rainfall and a noticeable uptick in the humidity.

“Bucket list ✔️. Tip..if you are scared of airboats sit in the middle, you will be able to hold on to the seat infront of you. They are not that loud but ear protection is provided. We went in February so the gators were pretty much just sunning on the banks..the guide said they are much more active during the summer. The guide was very informative and funny..the tour bus driver was also great giving us great restaurant recommendations.”
